Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds were more commonly used in commercial and institutional markets due to its technical supremacy. However, they have stepped into the limelight in recent years as people gravitate towards contemporary and clean cut décor. On top of that, they are easy to use, durable and economical.

A venetian blind has horizontal slats made of wood, PVC or metal. The slats are placed one above another and are suspended by a strip of cloth called tape. The slats can be rotated inwards and outwards or in between so natural light can stream in the house. This allows easy manipulation of natural lighting in the house as you can even choose to rotate only half of the slats inwards, leaving the other half in between.

Venetian blinds can close completely and also come in water resistant material. This makes them suitable for use in any rooms, even bathroom and kitchen.

Vertical Blinds

Vertical Blinds are much like Venetian blinds except their slats are wider and they run vertically. From the economic and aesthetic viewpoint, they are the ideal choice for commercial or public building.

Shadow Blinds

Shadow blinds are the latest addition to the blinds family. It is an innovative new window blind that features two layers of translucent and opaque horizontal striped fabric that can be glided in such a way that creates either a striped open and closed effect, or a fully closed effect.

Its pulley system works like a roller blind except it is two layers. However, it may be slightly costlier than roller blinds as it requires two layers of fabric.
